Debbie Conforti owns Waterleaf Designs, a design firm based out of Scottsdale dedicated to creating affordable design for everyone to enjoy. From re-arranging your furniture, to a total re-model, Waterleaf can help you make your house a home. Recently, Waterleaf took on its first commercial project. We were commissioned to create an industrial, bright, comfortable space for a new microbrewery in Tempe, AZ. With the bright colors and custom made furniture, the project was a great success. Gabriela Jacobsen WINNER – IFDA Tableau 2010 Student Design Competition

Gabriela Jacobsen submitted the winning design for the grand entrance of the IFDA Tableau 2010 event. Her design will be the focal point of the entrance to the cocktail party and set the mood for this gala evening. Currently, Gabriela is a senior in the undergraduate program at Northern Arizona University. After graduation, she plans to obtain her NCIDQ and LEED certification. In the spring of 2008, she enrolled in the AA degree program offered at Mesa Community College from which she graduated in December of 2009.
Prior to school, Gabriela worked in the interior design industry specializing in designing and manufacturing custom window treatments and upholstery. The change in the economic climate created the opportunity to pursue the educational goals she always had.
“I believe that being an Interior Designer is the best job in the world! I am very passionate about what I do, and don’t want to be just good at it; I want to be great!” said Gabriela.
